2019 summer update
Hello loves!
I turned 35 two days ago and so far it's been very chill! We didn't do much to celebrate, since KC was just getting home from a two week/three city trip, and I am terrible at party planning for myself. We did get KBBQ yesterday though, so no real complaints from me.
At the beginning of this year I started working as a receptionist for the New York Film Academy in LA/Burbank and in May-ish KC and I moved from East LA to North Hollywood in the Valley. It's been quite a change, and our place is not yet completely unpacked (because I am slow at that sort of thing and doing it solo). But it does mean that I'm walking a lot more, since I can take the bus to and from work. It's about a 20 minute walk though, from one location, and 12 from another so I'm definitely getting a bit of a workout in! The great thing about the new place is that we're on the same floor as the pool and hot tub, it's really lovely. Plus lots of light, AC/heating, dishwasher, etc. I really like it compared to where we were before.
I'll be heading to San Diego Comic-Con later this month for the 50th anniversary celebrations (and to work, as per usual). If you're going to be in San Diego from July 15th - July 22nd, let me know!
There's a few other updates: stuff involving the wedding, mostly, but I'll leave that for another day.
